Hemco Industries was founded in the early 1950's with the idea of designing automotive occupant restraints for a market that had little appreciation of the strong forces involved in vehicle collisions. Since the early 1970's the business has made its home in Ballarat, Australia and has grown and diversified to include the following businesses:
SEAT BELT DIVISION
The seatbelt division is accredited to ISO9001 Quality Management System. We manufacture and design child restraints (AS1754), special needs restraints, and seatbelts for many applications including automotive (AS2596), industrial (ISO6683), wheelchair (AS2492) and mining.
WAREHOUSING / TRANSPORT DIVISION
The Warehousing / Transport division operates a large warehousing facility in Ballarat, looking after clients of any size for any duration. Storage environments and transport requirements are tailored to suit the clients needs.
HEALTH EQUIPMENT DIVISION
The Health and Safety division designs and manufactures various high quality and affordable pieces of equipment for the health care industry. These products are used to assist in such things as back, joint and limb support, patient movement and hospital evacuation.
